I always know the importance of tithing and donation and how it can make the world a better place.
The thing with donation is many times you do not see the benefit it bring to the intended and
such gestures sometimes goes unappreciated and wasted. Or worse, fall into the hands of the unscrupulous.
Thus, I am bought over when I learnt about Kiva and its ideas. You lent US$25 to the people in developing countries who will use it to earn a livelihood by starting a business, etc. and will return your mony back once they make that money back. Then the cycle can continue and you can use the money to help others again!
